This seems to be a favorite spot for us and it has its good and bad days due to staffing issues. Today though happens to be an excellent day for early dinner.
As you one in they have the specials of the day. You are not seated so just look for a good location for you because on one side music is a little loud (not today) and on the other side it's more quieter but still both sides have TVs. We were brought our chips and salsa and they took our drink order.
The waitress was really nice and friendly and she came to our table several times during our visit.
We got our order and I was very pleased with the amount that we received today. The charro beans were so good and perfect spices and the meat was cooked very well not to mention they had more than enough shrimp in our parrillada. The sides which were pico de gallo, salad and guacamole
Were excellentl. Our drinks were good my strawberry margarita was a little to sweet but good.i will be coming back here mostly because I'm 2 minutes away from home. -

I absolutely love this place! I've been coming here forever so you can say that I'm a little biased towards this place out of nostalgia. But as everyone else says the price is good you can't go wrong here. My choice of meats is always the Asada, Lengua, and Bistek (hold the onions) with white cheese for that oh so delicious quesadilla experience. Also take on chance on the nopales! I like them more than my own mothers

After attending an awesome event yesterday, I wanted to fuel up the old belly with some Mexican food and I can always count on my compadre and his family to steer me in the right direction. As we entered, it was quite vibrant, packed, and the luring fragrant aromas filled the air.
Our waitress was great and I must apologize for myself and my compadre for briefly putting a little fear in her life. Our pleasantly smiling faces suddenly transformed into faces of slight disgust when told that because it was Sunday before noon, we could not have our cervezas until it was noon or had food on the table. Fortunately, it 5 minutes to noon so it wasn't a major setback.
I ordered the Camarones al la Plancha, grilled shrimp, garlic, onions, bell peppers on a sizzling hot cast iron plate. On the side was a plate with lettice, pico de gallo, and guacamole plus a medium sized bowl of absolutely flavorful borracho beans. This was all rinsed down with a couple of ice cold Bohemias. All in all, it was a delightful brunch. -

If I could give 3.5 stars I would score this west side Mexican restaurant that rating.
I'm not the pickiest eater when it come to these type of establishments as I know what to expect. This restaurant is a good neighborhood place that's nice and clean on the inside and outside.
I normally go through the drive thru as it's on my way home. The DT is efficient but not the quickest, which is ok because the food is mostly cook to order.
The food is what you expect, it's good but not the best you've ever had. The food is flavorful, such as the beef fajitas, carne guided a, and enchiladas. The prices are relatively cheap for the flavor and amount of food you get.
The tortillas are fluffy with a good flavor and sturdy enough to hold whatever for fill them with.
I normally get carne asada or beef fajita nachos with a side of crema and guacamole or the beef fajita quesadillas. Both plates are good and relatively inexpensive, under $10 for a full size plate of food.
